We offer Digital X-rays which require 60 seconds to develop and is the same technology used in largest human hospital in North Eastern Ohio. This new technology allows us to manipulate the x-ray image so that it can be enlarged 5xs greater than the original view. Exact measurements can be taken of any object or organ. It provides greater detail and disorders can be detected earlier in the disease process (including cancer). X-rays can be sent via the internet to a specialist anywhere in the world or they can be burned on a CD for you to view at home.

Since there is less need for repeat x-rays there is less radiation exposure to our patients. This also allows for shorter x-ray procedures, which is much less stressful on the patient.

Digital x-rays are a green technology. Digital x-rays use no x-ray film which ends up in landfills. There are no hazardous developing chemicals which require extensive treatment to remove from the water supply.  There is no additional waste to take multiple x-rays therefore there is less waste placed into the environment.

We also do digital dental x-rays. 85% of dental disease is located under the gum tissue which cannot be seen on a routine exam.  Digital dental x-rays are safer for the patient because they can be done rapidly which reduces the amount of time under anesthesia.
